Dolores was first elected as a member of Council for the Onion Lake Cree Nation in 2010. She is an advocate for children with disabilities and an advocate for women’s rights and gender equality.
Dolores was born and raised on the Onion Lake Cree Nation. She has studied education at the University of Saskatchewan and most recently studied Business Administration at Lakeland College in Lloydminster.
Dolores is currently a member of the Onion Lake Health Board Inc., she is also a former member of the Onion Lake Sports, Culture & Recreation board of directors. Dolores has been the founding force of organizing the Onion Lake Minor Ball Association. Dolores is a former youth care facility worker for Saskatchewan Corrections, Public Safety and Policing. She is dedicated to helping improve lives of under privileged children and their families.
Dolores and her husband Wayne have four children. Son Damian is a second year University of Saskatchewan student studying sciences to be a Doctor. Son Darian, daughters Destinee and Dallyne are currently living at home attending school. Dolores and her family are living life fully with their youngest daughter who was born with a disability. Spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing and travelling with Darian who is a product of the Lloydminster Minor Ball Association.
