As a young person, Eric was very involved in his community. Whether it was school leadership opportunities, community soccer, playing bagpipes, or working part-time since the age of 15, Eric’s primary goal has been to improve as many lives as possible along his journey. He has continued his community involvement in Saskatoon where he began tutoring math and got involved in the largest undergraduate business case competition, JDC West.
Eric’s pursuit of enhancing other’s lives has led him to run for the 2016 Provincial Election.
“The most important aspect about my campaign is that I am not a politician. I am simply a fellow citizen. I grew up in Meadow Lake and I know the issues that residents worry about, because I too worry about these issues. I promise to act with integrity and honesty in order to provide the constituents of Meadow Lake with the MLA that they truly deserve, acting under a party that is prepared to make a difference.”
Eric is continuing his studies at the University of Saskatchewan during the election, returning to Meadow Lake every weekend to talk with the constituents about the issues that matter most to them.
