Our government needs to be accountable and transparent, and put the interests of our citizens - especially low and middle income families, family farms, and local businesses - before those of special interest groups and large corporations. Our government must work and consult with our aboriginal peoples, to empower our citizens with the means to meet their needs. Despite the general wealth of our province, we still have many at-risk people who have yet to have the opportunity to benefit. We have a wonderful province that we need to keep improving. This can be achieved by making sure that every community has access to all the necessities of life including clean drinking water, affordable and sustainable food, safe and healthy housing, and protection services. In meeting these needs we become a province that others look to. We need to become a province that respects and protects our environment and to increase the use of renewable power, such as wind and solar.
