Stewart Kerr was born in Regina and raised in rural Saskatchewan, living in Landis and Unity, until 2003 when he moved to Regina. Stewart has worked with Anglican and Catholic summer camps for teenagers and has received a Certificate in Wilderness Leadership from Prairie Bible College in Three Hills Alberta. In 2012 Stewart began his studies at the University of Regina and will be completing his Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in History, April of 2016. With his studies he spent a summer semester in France learning French at the Universite de Savoie. He is very interested in the history of Canada and the history of many different ethnic groups from around the world.
Stewart is a former Royal Regina Rifle reservist and Assistant Contract Administrator at Regina Housing Authority. He currently works with the Ministry of Social Services in the Accounts Receivable Unit and is a full time university student. While at University, Stewart has served on the Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship leadership team and is currently the president of the University of Regina Young Liberals campus group. He is also currently a student representative for the University of Regina Arts Faculty Council and the Arts Faculty Program Development Board. Stewart recently served on the Liberal Party Campaigns in Regina Lewvan and Regina Wascana. Stewart will be running for provincial politics for the first time come Spring 2016.
